When you call Los Veneros "home", you plan your day around which way to play. You're likely to run out of energy before you run out of ways to use it. Enjoy.
On one side, the tranquil waters of Banderas Bay and the sandy beach of de Estiladeras. On the other, the palm jungle and mountains rising in the distance. It's a setting that will ease your life into balance…naturally.
Banderas Bay is the seventh-largest natural bay in the world, and considered to be among the most naturally endowed waters in the Americas. Home to nesting sea turtles in the summer, and migrating Humpback whales in the winter, it is an aquatic playground of tropical ocean waters.
The Los Veneros Concierge is on hand to arrange any recreational request from tee times to fishing charters, the Veneros Beach Club is your starting point for active pursuits, on land and sea. Here are just a few ways to enjoy a day at Los Veneros:
Life at Los Veneros is all about the beach. The broad Los Veneros beachfront is ideal for leisurely strolls, beach volleyball or building sandcastles, while the inviting waters form a natural playground for all types of ocean activities.
Popular ocean activities at Los Veneros include surfing, wind surfing, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and kite surfing – it is a rare gem of a beach that offers ideal water and wind conditions to be able to indulge in all of these activities.
Of course, our community comes complete with a Beach Concierge – one who makes sure you have everything you need for water-bound fun.
You may choose to simply relax with a good book in one of the beachfront hammocks, or on a shaded lounge alongside one of the resort's plentiful pools. Book a massage at the Spa, and feel the pressure of daily life melt away…
Nearby, you'll find a collection of intriguing towns to explore, from surfer-chic Sayulita to the charming mountain village of San Sebastian. The spirited city of Puerto Vallarta has added dynamic attractions to its traditional charms, offering dining, nightlife and every imaginable convenience.
Nearby Puerto Vallarta is a multi-colored mosaic of traditional Mexican architecture and gold-sand beaches bordered by jungle-covered mountains. With its cobblestone streets, graceful cathedral, and welcoming atmosphere Vallarta maintains a small-town charm despite boasting sophisticated restaurants, a thriving arts community, active nightlife, and a wide variety of ecotourism attractions.
At the town's center is the historic church of Guadalupe, topped by a crown held aloft by angels. Paralleling the cobalt Pacific Ocean is the charming boardwalk known as the malecon, lined with quirky bronze sculptures and sand artists building imaginative sculptures on the beach. The town houses the second largest art community in Mexico and is home to dozens of renowned galleries.
The Southern Coast of the bay is distinguished by tranquil waters, abundant vegetation and beautiful beaches framed by the Sierra Madre mountain range. In this region can be found the small towns of Mismaloya and Boca de Tomatlán, along with hidden beaches tucked into magical coves, such as Yelapa, Las Animas, Quimixto and the spectacular Los Arcos maritime reserve.
The bay's Northern Coast offers the best of both worlds; from exclusive resorts and world-class golf courses to typical small towns and tranquil beaches. The North Coast is home to Los Veneros and is made up of the Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, and Punta Mita zones. Further up the Pacific Coast are the intriguing towns of Sayulita and San Pancho.
From January to April, humpback whales play offshore in the warm Pacific Ocean. The concierge can arrange for a whale-watching excursion to view these magnificent mammals up close. For land activities explore the ecological reserve that the resort is located in and take a nature course to spot the different hummingbirds, butterflies, geckos and more.
Golf is booming in popularity in Puerto Vallarta and the Mexican Riviera, with an ample offering of excellent courses to choose from. Condo-side courses, beachside courses, resort courses, private courses, public courses are what make golf in the Vallarta region such a varied experience.
